4622

A security package has been loaded by the Local Security Authority

A security package (SSP/AP) was loaded by LSASS.

Event ID 4622 is generated whenever a new Security Support Provider (SSP) or Authentication Package DLL is loaded into `lsass.exe`. While core packages (`Kerberos`, `NTLM`, `Schannel`, `WDigest`) load at boot, malicious actors inject custom SSP DLLs into LSASS memory to intercept and harvest plaintext credentials of every user logging onto the machine.

Failure Reason / Root Cause:

Normal operating system boot loading core providers, or attacker credential dumping via malicious SSP injection.
