A service was installed in the system. Logs the service name, service file name (binary path), and service start type.

Event ID 4697 is generated when a new Windows service is registered in the Service Control Manager (`services.exe`). Attackers and commercial C2 frameworks (e.g., Cobalt Strike, Metasploit, PsExec) routinely install temporary or persistent background services to execute elevated payloads (`SYSTEM` privileges) and maintain system persistence across reboots.

Failure Reason / Root Cause:

Standard software installation, IT remote administration tools (e.g., PsExec), or attacker persistence and lateral movement service creation.
