WMI activity detected provider starting
A Windows Management Instrumentation (`WMI`) provider DLL started execution inside `wmiprvse.exe`.
Event ID 5857 (`Microsoft-Windows-WMI-Activity/Operational`) records when a WMI provider starts (`ProviderName`). Threat actors use custom WMI providers or abuse existing providers (`Win32_Process`, `ActiveScriptEventConsumer`) to execute lateral movement commands and persistent scripts inside the context of `wmiprvse.exe` (`SYSTEM` or `Network Service`).
Failure Reason / Root Cause:
Initialization of WMI provider (`ProviderName`) within `wmiprvse.exe` host process.

- Monitor for unusual `ProviderName` values or high-frequency provider starts coinciding with remote WMI command execution (`T1047`).
