The scope or classification (`GroupType`) of an AD group was converted (e.g., Security to Distribution, Global to Universal).

// DETAILED TELEMETRY & CONTEXT:

Event ID 4764 captures explicit group type conversion (`GroupTypeChange`). Threat actors sometimes convert innocuous Distribution Groups (which have no security SID context) into Security Groups to silently inherit group permissions without generating typical `Group Created` events.
